Who we are
Grottega was born in Laterza, in one of the places where ceramics has always been part of everyday life.
The story begins with a clear choice: to stay here, among these streets and this landscape, and transform an ancient tradition into a living project, capable of speaking to the present.
There shop It opens as a space open to people. Those who enter bring questions, dreams, and sometimes simple curiosities.
The work takes shape precisely from these encounters: listening, proposing, building together.
The first pieces were born this way, from a direct dialogue with those who were looking for an object that conveyed something personal, not just a simple decorative element.
Over time Grottega grows as a research laboratory for contemporary majolica.Â
Traditional shapes are reinterpreted, colors become deeper, gold enters as a measured luminous sign.Â
Furnishings, artistic favors, and ceramic jewelry become chapters of the same story: that of a region told through hands, design, and relationships.
The shop maintains its original character.
